1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Arni mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by [Company Legal Name] ("Arni", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Arni is a multi-sport coaching application for iOS. It reads workout data from Apple HealthKit for auto-tracked sessions (running, cycling, swimming, and rowing), allows manual logging of gym and strength sessions, combines your training into a unified fatigue and readiness model, and provides coaching through an AI chat assistant ("Arni").

The Service is a fitness and training tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical care, diagnosis, or treatment.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

4. Health and Safety Disclaimer

Arni is designed to be safety-conscious and may advise you to rest, reduce intensity, or abandon a goal it considers unrealistic. You remain solely responsible for your participation in physical activity and for following the guidance of your medical professionals. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

5. Subscriptions, Free Trial, and Cancellation

• Arni offers an auto-renewing subscription. New subscribers start with a 3-day free trial.
• After the trial ends, the subscription automatically renews at $4.99 per week or $69.99 per year, depending on the plan you selected, unless cancelled earlier.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically within 24 hours before the end of each billing period, and your Apple ID will be charged for renewal.
• If you do not cancel the free trial before it ends, you will be automatically charged for the subscription.
• You can cancel anytime, at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, via App Store settings: open the App Store → tap your profile → Subscriptions → select Arni → Cancel Subscription. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
• Manage or restore your subscription in your App Store account settings.

We may change subscription prices with reasonable prior notice. If a price change applies to your current billing period, you may cancel before the change takes effect. Refunds are handled by Apple according to its policies and applicable law.

6. AI-Generated Coaching

Coaching responses in the Service are generated by artificial intelligence, processed via a third-party provider (OpenAI) as described in our Privacy Policy. AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your individual circumstances, and Arni may refuse or revise coaching recommendations it considers unsafe.

You are responsible for evaluating coaching suggestions and for all decisions you make about your training. Do not disregard professional medical advice because of something Arni tells you.

7. Your Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle Apple HealthKit data, AI processing, Sign in with Apple, push notifications, and account deletion. You own your workouts and logs; you grant us a limited license to process them to provide the Service.

8. User Content

"User Content" means workouts, notes, chat messages, and other materials you submit to the Service. You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, and use your User Content solely to operate and improve the Service, including generating coaching responses.

You represent that your User Content does not violate any law or third-party right.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
• misuse, scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the underlying models or source code of the Service;
• interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure;
• share your account with others or resell access to the Service.

10. Account Deletion and Termination

You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile → Settings → Delete Account). Deleting your account removes your personal data from our servers as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms or where required by law.

11. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, and the Arni mascot, is owned by Arni or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights in the Service are transferred to you.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that coaching outputs will achieve any particular result.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arni and its officers, employees, and suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes within the app or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law
